President

Eoghan Gallagher

Galway man Eoghan Gallagher is 24 years old and is serving his second term on the YFG National Executive, previously serving as the North West Regional Organiser. An active member for over 5 years, the Claregalway native has worked closely with many public reps, including a stint living in Brussels. Outside of YFG, Eoghan has a passion for sport and trad music and plays the banjo, mandolin, and guitar.

Steven Murphy

Wexford born Steven is a primary school teacher living and working in Dublin. Steven has been a member of YFG for 10 years and has been very active at branch, regional and national level in that time. Steven was Students’ Union President in Marino Institute of Education while in college and is previously served as Leinster Regional Organiser of YFG.

Béibhinn Byrne

Béibhinn is a post-primary teacher from rural Wicklow, working in both as a Post-Primary teacher in Dublin. She has a passion for education and loves working with young people. Béibhinn is a proud country woman and loves nothing more than taxi-ing members around the country to events.

Daniel Lynch

Daniel first joined YFG in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since. A proud Galway man, he was a founding member of the Patrick Hogan Branch and currently serves as its chair. He’s held a number of roles in both YFG and the senior party. Outside Fine Gael, he loves singing and acting, and you can find him on the stage doing both!

Caolán Maguire

Caolán Maguire (22) comes from Mullaknock in North Monaghan and is Secretary of the Cavan Monaghan Billy Fox YFG branch. He has been involved in Fine Gael since he was 20. With the help of some good friends, he founded a YFG branch in the newly rebranded ATU Galway. Also studies Software development, when he gets the time!

Rachel is 25 and a Co-Optee to the national executive. Working with one of our public reps in Leinster House.

Keeva Walsh

Cork woman Keeva Walsh is twenty two. She is a masters student in UCC, where she is also chair the YFG Branch. Aside from politics her interests include being outside,  making things, baking and powerlifting.

Isabelle Danes

Isabelle is a third year student in UCD studying Economics and Politics. She is currently Luke Corkery’s campaign manager for the upcoming local elections in Swords. She has been an active YFG member and has had the priviledge of having many roles within the youth organisation. She is currently serving as Youth Officer on the Fingal East Officer Board.

She is a Dublin native with a keen interst in sports, photography and travel.

Shane Lee

Shane is 21 years old hailing from Blanchardstown in North Dublin. He is a YFG member in Dublin West and formerly DCU having originally joined in 2021. Shane is currently working in the office of one of Fine Gael’s Senators. Shane is the chair of Dublin West YFG and has held several other positions in both YFG and Fine Gael. Outside of politics he is passionate about both history and rugby.

Jamie Malone

I’m a final-year Economics and Politics student in Trinity where I also chair the YFG Branch. I’ve been a member of YFG for almost 2 years and in that time, I’ve also sat on the International and my constituency committees. I work in Dún Laoghaire as a bar manager and in my spare time I love going to concerts and the theatre.

John Healy

I am a member of Kildare YFG and the public relations officer of UCD YFG. I’ve been an active member of YFG for the past two years and I am a big supporter of my local TD, Minister Martin Heydon. I am a second-year history and politics student in UCD. I love football and I pray for the downfall of Manchester City. Up the Lilywhites!

Liam O'Donovan

Corkman Liam hails from a dairy and beef farming background and now teaching. Pastimes include meeting new people, going to the gym and all things politics.

North West Regional Organiser

Seán Martyn

Seán Martyn is a 21-year-old student and part-time farmer from Cree in West Clare. Currently studying History and Irish in the University of Galway/NUIG, Seán first joined Young Fine Gael in 2019 in NUIG. He has held a number of roles in YFG as well as serving on the Clare FG constituency officer-board. From a dairy farming background, Seán loves the outdoors, country music and GAA.
