Terms and Conditions
Young Fine Gael (YFG) is the politically autonomous youth wing of the Fine Gael party, maintaining its independence to express the views of young people.
As an organisation, it is committed to the values of the Fine Gael party - equality of opportunity, enterprise and reward, safety and security in our society, while insisting integrity and hope are at the core of the organisation's
actions. YFG allows young people drive political change in this country.
YFG seeks to advance the political representation and objectives of the youth of Ireland through the vehicle of the Fine Gael Party. YFG shall foster, promote and develop an interest among young people in political activity and shall seek to promote young candidates in Fine Gael.
YFG shall formulate policy representative of the membership of Young Fine Gael.
By signing up to membership of YFG, members agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of membership of YFG.
Communication Policy
YFG may contact members, using the details provided, in order to administer their membership, and to keep them informed about matters which are of interest to members of the YFG and Fine Gael organisations.
Fine Gael may retain members' personal information for these purposes, for the duration of their membership of YFG.
Terms and Conditions of Membership
No person shall be a member of YFG before the age of 15 and shall not be eligible to renew membership beyond the age of 35.
Any member of YFG may not be a member of any other Irish political organisation.
By accepting membership of YFG, each member agrees to be bound by and shall submit to the rules and by-laws of YFG and Fine Gael, as amended by the organisation from time to time and as available upon request to the National Youth Officer, Kate Acheson
The YFG National Executive may, at any time, refer any member of the Organisation to the Fine Gael Executive Council for any breach of this Constitution and Rules, or for any actions which, in its consideration, have damaged the interests of the Organisation.
