At this weekend's Garret FitzGerald Summer School in Kilkenny we held a vote on a motion to support the abolishment of Seanad Éireann.
In the secret ballot following the motion, the vote resulted in a tie.
Following the result, the National Executive of YFG made a decision that the organisation would hold a neutral position in the upcoming referendum.
All members of YFG will be free to campaign, depending on their personal views on the issue.
