YFG Charity Campaign 2017

Young Fine Gael will be taking part in an exciting new charity initiative in 2017. This year, YFG will partner in a funds and awareness raising effort with a national, youth-focused charity nominated by the branches. All through 2017, YFG nationally and through the branches will work to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity, and will present this money to the charity at the end of the year. Branches are invited to make submissions on which charity they would like to see YFG help, and Exec will choose one on the strength of those submissions.
Once chosen, the entire Organisation will then work hard to make a difference for this charity, and for the people it helps.

This will be by means of individual branches being asked to hold at least one fundraising event during the year, as well as a national effort by Exec.

Submissions on beneficiary charities should include and consider the following:

1. A maximum 500 word description of the charity and the vital work they do.
2. The charity should be a national organisation.
3. The charity should have a youth focus.
4. Each branch should make only one submission.
5. Submissions should be sent to yfg@yfg.ie by the 31.01.17.
