Why did you decide to run in the locals: First elected to South Dublin County Council in 2009. I have enjoyed working as a local councillor in Lucan; having delivered on a number of important local initiatives in the areas of better planning; increasing second level school places and supporting business in Lucan Village.

Why did you join YFG/FG: Joined UCD Young Fine Gael in 2000

Your greatest achievement:

· YFG Member of the Year 2002 – presented with Joan Fitzgerald Shield by her husband the late Dr. Garret Fitzgerald

· YFG President 2003-2004

· Played key role in rebuilding of YFG 2002-2004 during period of rebuilding of Fine Gael by new leader Enda Kenny following the 2002 General Election

· Coordinated both the 2003 'Better Deal for Young Drivers Campaign & 2004 'Young Homebuyers' campaign

· Elected to South Dublin County Council 2009
