Trinity scores a victory for students!

On the 17th of November, the Trinity college branch of Young Fine Gael successfully had their motion passed at student council mandating Trinity's Students' Union to launch a campaign to improve computer and printing facilities throughout the college campus.

In October Trinity Young Fine Gael carried out a survey of student views of computer facilities in TCD and found serious problems in satisfaction with the quality and availability of computers and printers.

Speaking on the issue, Trinity Chairman Michael Clancy said that, "This yet again proves that Young Fine Gael has an important role to play on college campuses throughout Ireland. We hope that in the near future, as a result of our campaign, students will see better facilities throughout the campus. This motion now mandates the students' union into action and it is now their responsibility to launch a campaign on behalf of the students of TCD. I'm proud to say that this campaign will be launched because of Young Fine Gael."
