Bernard Aherne
Bernard is currently the National Secretary of YFG and a YFG representative on the Fine Gael Executive Council. He is 22 years old, a native of Tipperary and studies Business and Law at UCD. He has been an active member since 2007, when he helped his local hero, Noel Coonan, first get elected to the Dáil.
Eileen Lynch
Eileen is 23 and hails from Aghabullogue in Co. Cork.She is currently training with Philip Lee Solicitors in Dublin, having graduated from Law and Irish in UCC in 2012. She has been heavily involved with Macra na Feirme, and is also a greyhound racing enthusiast. She has been a member of YFG since 2006.
Dale McDermott
Dale is a 20 year old Accounting & Finance student in DIT. He has been a member of YFG since he was 15, where he has been an active member of Dublin South-West. He is the outgoing Dublin Regional Organiser.

Noreen Mimnagh Fleming
Noreen Mimnagh Fleming is 24 and is from Slane, Co. Meath. She is a secondary school teacher/hockey coach. She has been a member of YFG since 2008 and been active in UCD and Meath. She enjoys reading and dancing and all things country!
Robert O'Sullivan
From Cork, Rob graduated from UCC with a degree in Business Information Systems in 2011. He has since moved to Dublin where he works as a Technology Analyst. Rob is the outgoing Communications & Campaigns Officer on the National Executive and wants to continue to build a stronger YFG into 2014.

Áine Dempsey
Áine joined YFG at the age of 16 and has been an active member ever since. She is currently 19 and studying pre-veterinary nursing. She has held various positions throughout the organization including 2 years on the DRC.
Ciara McMahon
Ciara is 23 and from the wonderful city of Meathhill, Co. Meath. She joined YFG back in 2009 in NUI Maynooth, where she studied Politics and History. Sbe has since done a Masters in Political Communications and Public Affairs and is now working for Minister Frances Fitzgerald in Clondalkin.
David McManus
David studied Economics & Politics in UCD where he held the position of Policy Officer before serving as Chairperson of the DRC. Outside politics, David enjoys life in the fast lane working as a Corporate Account Manager for Enterprise Rent a Car (3,000 cars, give us a shout!).
Padraig O'Sullivan
Padraig is a fourth year student of Politics and Economics in the UL. He lives outside a small town in Tipperary, called Newport. Outside of YFG, he is also a member of Macra na Feirme and he has a strong interest in Irish history.
Stephen Spillane
Stephen is 27 and is a Health Care Advisor with Boots. He has been a member of YFG for 9 years. He joined YFG while in UCC and never left. He is an active member of a number of voluntary organisations including Cork Pride and the Select Vestry of St Anne's.

Organiser (Dublin)

David Higgins
David is also known as "Piano Man". He first joined Fine Gael in 2009 and has held numerous positions within the party since. He is now a third year MSISS student in TCD and he chairs the YFG DRC.
Brian Walsh
Brian is a final year student studying Law& Politics at NUI Maynooth. Currently, he is Vice-Chair of the DRC, Secretary of YFG NUI Maynooth and Secretary of YFG Dublin Rathdown, his home constituency, where he is also very much active in the senior party.

Organiser (North West)

Shane (Ted) Lynott
Shane is from near Ballina, Co. Mayo. He is a qualified Physical Education and Geography teacher from UL. YFG positions held include: Western Regional Council Chair, Northwest Regional Council Policy Officer, member of the Children's Committee during Children's Referendum, P.R.O. of UL YFG.
Shane is the only candidate for this role and is considered a candidate-elect.

Ciaran Allen
Ciaran Allen is a 23 year old from Wexford, he graduated from UL, with a Degree in Politics & Public Administration. Ciaran re-launched the Wexford County YFG Branch in 2010 and was elected as Chairperson for two years. He is currently Treasurer and was co-opted to the LRC in July.
Conor Bergin
Since joining in 2011, Conor has been highly active in YFG – from his local branch in Laois where he was Chairperson from 2012-13 to his college branch in UCD where he is currently Chair. Conor is also Chairperson of the LRC and Constituency Secretary of Laois Fine Gael.

Luke Hogg
I'm Luke Hogg and I'm running for MRO. I have been a member of YFG for nearly 4 years and during that time I have served in many positions on different committees within the organisation. As a journalism student, I have many media connections throughout Munster and exceptional communication skills.
Michael O'Herlihy
Michael is 23 years old and hails from Kilmurry, Co. Cork. He recently graduated from Energy Engineering in UCC and now works as an applications engineer for a firm in Cork City. He has a keen interest in current affairs, sport, cars and aviation. In his spare time, he enjoys meeting up with friends and generally taking it easy!
