Mallow Branch Launch a great success

Young Fine Gael Celebrates successful launch in Mallow

On Monday night last in the Hibernian Hotel, young people from all over the Mallow district gathered together for the launch of the Mallow Young Fine Gael Branch.

The launch was hailed as a great success by Local representatives with over fifty young people in attendance. Showing theirsupport were T.D David Stanton, Senator Paul Bradford and Cllrs. Tom Barry, Pa O' Driscoll and Richard Dempsey.

New Chair James Fitzgerald was visibly pleased at the turnout and stated that it was the clearest indication to date that Mallow wants change.

'The number of people here shows that Mallow is ready for a change. It is time for a new era in Irish politics and this Branch is the perfect opportunity for the young people of the Mallow district to shape their own futures while meeting people with similar interests. '

Young Fine Gael is all about mixing a bit of politics with a bit of socialising. There has never been a better time to get involved in local politics and Young Fine Gael is the only vehicle for young people to seek political change in this country.

There are many events being planned for 2011 and anyone wishing to get involved is encouraged to join Mallow YFG on Facebook.
