Bríd Murphy & John Morrissey Co-opted

YFG is delighted to welcome two new members to the National Exec. Following the election victory in Greystones, of Cllr. James O'Sullivan, the position of Director of Communications was left vacant and had to be filled. Following a very strong showing from many members country wide, the President of
YFG has decided to invite two new faces to the executive, Bríd Murphy from the UCC & Carbery branches, in Cork, and John Morrissey, YFG Member of the Year, from St. Pats YFG & Kilkenny.

Bríd Murphy will fill the position which was left vacant by James. Bríd is a former Secretary of the UCC branch, and is currently pursuing further studies in Dublin in the area of Public Relations.

John Morrissey will also be co-opted. John was awarded the Joan Fitzgerald Shield for Member of the Year at our Conference in Athlone last February. He has been a member of YFG since 2004, and established the YFG branch in St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra.

Bríd and John both have huge experience within YFG, and fantastic track records of hard work for the organisation.
The National Executive congratulates them on their appointments, and is delighted to welcome them to the team.
