Hume Brophy Dublin is looking for an Intern to join our busy team. Founded by John Hume and Eoin Brophy in 2005, Hume Brophy is one of Ireland's most respected Government Affairs and Media Relations consultancies, with offices in Dublin, London, Brussels, Paris and Singapore. The Hume Brophy team consists of over 60 professional communications consultants drawn from media, political and industry backgrounds providing support to clients on campaigns targeting investors, decision-makers, governments and the media. We work with clients in the corporate, financial services, sport, food, media, retail, energy, transport and technology sectors.

Requirements
•Must understand and have a keen interest in Irish politics
•Must have experience working with a team
•Must be a fast learner and competent in performing and completing set tasks
•Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to problem solve. Ability to think independently and creatively.
•Excellent relationship skills and interpersonal skills, calm under pressure with a sense of humour and fair play.
Responsibilities
Media:
•Ongoing Monitoring
•Contact sheets
•Proactive media identification and support
•Profiling of key business / news journalists
Political:
•Ongoing Oireachtas monitoring
•Liaising with Oireachtas Committees
•Contact sheets
Other:
•Administration and office support
•Event support
•You will provide ongoing support to account directors, managers and executives across the company
