Wicklow

We have two active non-college branch in Co. Wicklow, one based in Greystones and another based in East Wicklow. The branch in East Wicklow plans to run a debating competition for secondary school students in the coming year. Our branches submit policy motions to YFG events, run events in tandem with other Leinster YFG branches, canvasses with FG throughout the year and members also attend national events and play a part in all our campaigns.

Branches are the main generators of policy in YFG. In the past decade, branches have fuelled campaigns on road safety, dignity for young and learner drivers, suicide awareness, youth depression, sexual health, youth emigration, the Stability Treaty, the Children's Rights Referendum and employment opportunities.

YFG in Co. Wicklow is a member of the Leinster Regional Council.
