Sligo

We have two non-college branch in Co. Sligo, one based in Sligo Town and another based in Tobercurry. We also have two college branches, with one based in Sligo Institute of Technology and another based in St. Angela's College.

Our branches submit policy motions to YFG events, run events in tandem with other North West YFG branches, canvass with FG throughout the year and members also attend national events and play a part in all our campaigns.

Branches are the main generators of policy in YFG. In the past decade, branches have fuelled campaigns on road safety, dignity for young and learner drivers, suicide awareness, youth depression, sexual health, youth emigration, the Stability Treaty, the Children's Rights Referendum and employment opportunities.

YFG in Co. Sligo is a member of the Western Regional Council.
